I nearly clicked it when it came round like 6 months ago... was hovering over the link, and then thought hang on seems a bit dodgy. I was lucky, that thing was a bitch to get rid off.

Unless they have a legit reply. But if it's like a dos file or some sort of exe file, don't accept.

wow..we had it 2 months ago, then just got sent it again, like 2 hours ago....me being a complete tard when it comes to remembering things, clicked it. the page didn't load, because i remembered just before it finished. anyone know if it still takes affect if it doesn't get to load all the way?

In simple terms: if the line of text they send you (a link) contains your email address or sounds out of character for that person, don't click it.

If you do whenever you open a conversation window it will send that link on to them + you have the nasty spyware, virus etc

Ad-Aware and Spybot to get rid of it.

Also check msconfig to check nothing weird launches on startup.
