here's the short story on whats happening.

i use to crash to the desktop every 45 Min's or so, so i reinstalled...

now every time i load a game it gets to around 50% then crashes to desktop.
so i reinstalled again.
now every time i load a game it gets to around 50% then crashes to desktop.
so i reinstalled again.
now every time i load a game it gets to around 50% then crashes to desktop.
so i reinstalled again downloading a new patch from somewhere else.
now every time i load a game it gets to around 50% then crashes to desktop.
so i went into my graphic setting for my video card and set everything back to default.
now every time i load a game it gets to around 50% then crashes to desktop.

WTF?!


I've deleted all folders that had to do with BF2 and cleared cache and deleted all broken shortcuts and made sure there was nothing left in the registry entry's and defraged. nothing is working. i been playing for over 2 years and i never have had this problem.

can someone help me please ? this is the only game i play so its not like i would just move on to a different game or something...

If you have a second Hard drive then install to the one with your windows folder (C drive). If its one drive then try and installing it to a different location like your documents folder (it worked for me with rise of nations). best of luck my solo gaming acquaintance

thank you, that seems to have worked. if anything changes ill let you know

i thought i was going to have to reinstall windows before i would be able to play again... thanks for saving me that trouble
