i wont play BF2 because the rank systems if u want like General u have to get 200.000 points WHAT SENSE is in that BF2 takes ur life in to GAME and BF2142 u have to get only few points to get new RANK but BF2 is not fun game if u play like 9-20 so what idea first real life then games think twice why u play that game for fun or for RANKS
On xfire BF2 is still on the top10 most played games list since near its release. BF2142 was actually off the list for a while and i have never seen it pass BF2 in hours played.
I played the beta of 2142, though yeah this is good, bought it then played on it for a week then i decided nah i prefer the relatively realistic combat of Bf2 and the fact that its a game that you have to work at to suceed at and gain ranks and the unlocks.
