Not that easy to get Explosives Ordinance Badge!

I need 20 Kills with any combination of C4/Claymore/AT-Mine to get my VETERAN badge.

How did you do it?

With the Sniper, it only has 2 Claymore.
It's time consuming planting C4 and waiting for someone to come along and blow them up.
The mine with engineer takes very long also.

Any tips/tricks?

Probably your best bet is to get in league with a support player and defend the TV station on Sharqi with claymore after claymore all the while getting resupplied by your partner in crime. It's not a bad way for the support player to get a badge or two also. This is whoring at its best but you'd be surprised how many times the same player will run into those claymores again and again.

yeah, see if you can sneek up on an APC with a few people in it/ catch a blackhawk before it takes off lol (so much fun in 1.3 when you could drop cars anywhere)

Get mine by playing a high point LONG round karkand game. Goin sniper and clay spamming my ass off. i wouldnt even try to shoot the enemy i just ran up and plopped a clay by his feet. Eventually i got it. Got veteran by Jihad Jeep on Jalalalalalalbad.

/story mode

I join a rare Karkand with vehicles server. Immediately whip out C4, spawn at Suburb, and head toward the Square/Hotel looking for those American pigs. Driving by the Square, an LAV-25 comes around the corner, not looking at me, and heads towards the hotel. I pursue, heading down the road by the metal fence. All of a sudden, an M1A2 appears around the corner and blocks the LAV, causing me to collide with it. Still not dead (nor damaged), I prepare to jump out and push the button. Luckily, Mr. Tank saves me the trouble and (using the 120 mm cannon) blows up me, my Vodnik, my C4, the LAV-25, and his own tank.

/end story mode

A winner is me!

I got my basic by jihad-charging APCs on Karkand with C4. I intend to work my way up to the higher ones through dirty tricks, in future.
Such things as stacking C4 on spawn points for popular vehicles, showering the world with C4 out the ass of a blackhawk, and blast-funneling in Karkand alleyways.
And since I get points even if I get kickbanned, who gives a toss who I teamkill?

20 kills are hard? Good thing you weren't trying when the requirements were 36 kills. I got my expert badge(yes, 36 kills) with the leet c4 hopping maneuver on karkand, FF off ON.

Can't you get it just by getting 50 kills overall? I got the veteran command badge by getting 1000 command points overall. I didn't do the 23 minutes IAR. Don't ask me how I didn't... I just can't seem to get the commander awards that you need 23 - 25 minutes as a commander IAR.

You need 10,000 comand points and the 25 mins IAR,Join a 64 player Server with a small amout of people in say 8, you should get it easy as long as there is no time limit.

Got mine claywhoring on Karkand being MEC. The sweet spot is where the pickup truck on the other side of the wooden fence is in the beginning of the round. The pickup truck would be toward the USMC side. Everyone will be huddling over there waiting for someone to roll in first to suppress incoming MEC forces. So, being the suicidal sniper you are... you just run and run and run and lay the clays and hope the USMC dropped some ammo bags trying to resupply their grenade spammers. Lay as many clays and try to grab as many ammo bags while staying alive. You'll get the reqs in no time.

Yep, karkand FF off is easily the best way. i spent countless hours trying to get it playing normally, but at the end of the day all you really care about is that shiny medal, no one cares how you got it

just play as MEC, spawn at hotel and run behind that building just north of the usmc spawn and chuck em both asap. theres almost always 5-8 nade spammers hahaha

Hm. Claywhoring just sounds so... cheap, really.

I've decided that I'm gonna try and rank up the badge with C4. Because, frankly, it's a blast to try and kill with it.

For Veteren: It was around the time that snipers could drop five claymores at one time. So, I did it on the TV station on Sharqi.

For Expert: I did it with claymores on a half-filled 64 player Karkand. I picked up any available sniper kit, or support kit, that I could find to finally get it. However, with IO servers now, it should be a bit easier to accomplish.

Karkand. Jack up the Hotel flag with C4, when it goes neutral, let it rip. 5+ kills. Do it for every flag.
