Either the littlebird (havent used it but I did in BFV). It was so damn cool. And I would either have a DPV, F15 or an F18. Or the MEC bomber (and you can solo in it too).

Oupss.... none then... Tanks have no shields, they can't hoover. BF2142 doesn't need flying things that can't be shot down.

Nope can't see any thing that would improve the game play from BF2 to BF2142
