Needs some blurring, also the font could do with a drop shadow and stroke, it doesnt grab your attention.
Also try some random effects that might look cool

Better than what it was, cutouts always look good.
However I do not like the generic glow you have assigned, you should of used black.
You have also duplicated layer and added something like softlight over the top, it doesnt look bad, I must admit.
Points to improve:
The yellow, lose it, it's horrible.
I feel the border should be a BIT more solid...
