The Next Battlefield Game

Technically there is already one in the works called "Battlefield: Bad Company," but I believe it has a story line and will be different in nature from the Battlefield games that we play on PC like BF2 and 2142. I just want to know what kind of massive online PC version of Battlefield you guys would want to see next. EA has already done 4 different time periods of warfare: WWII, Vietnam, modern day, and futuristic. Should they just reinvent one of these formulas/time frames altogether, or scrap them and start with something new?

I think bf3 is going to be like bf2 but better. nicer graphics, bigger maps, more emphesis on team play. new guns, just a completely different style of game play.

If I have to take a guess, the next title in the series would something like Battlefield: Urban Warfare. Which, knowing EA, would be a mixture of Counter-Strike with the Battlefield series. This because they, as said, have run out of major conflicts.

I'd like to see a BF3 with no set time period. It'd be difficult to keep track of ranks etc. but it would be cool to have one game with next generation graphics and physics for all the main wars of our time, before and even the future. WWI & II, Vietnam, Modern day conflicts, and then go nuts in the future, maybe an alternate future, maybe before 2142, (it's naive to think that there will be peace for 150 years,) or beyond.
Lump 'em all together in one ultimate Battlefield game. That'd be awesome.
