Features

Story
The Master Chief is back on (the now Covenant controlled) Earth, Cortana is still prisoner to the Gravemind (that big talking cabbage monster), the Covenant have uncovered what is believed to be "The Ark", and the Elites are now allies to the humans.

Graphics
Graphics have been greatly improved. High dynamic range, global lighting, real-time reflections, depth of field effect, an increased surface detail, a draw distance (in-game horizon) in excess of 10 miles, improved dust and particle effects, and improved water effects will all be employed in the game.

Gameplay
AI has been greatly improved. The X button will now be used to deploy special equipment, such as the "portable grav lift", "Bubble Shield", "trip mine" and the "power drainer". New weapons have also been added to the game:

[*] M6G Pistol (the pistol from the first Halo, but no scope and probably more nerfed)
[*] Spartan Laser
[*] Missile Pod[*] IE-486H Heavy Machinegun (the Warthog turret, now mobile)

[*] Bubble Shield
[*] Tripmine
[*] Grav Lift
[*] Power Drainer

The beta for Halo 3 didnt seem that different. I was actually bored after 10 minutes of gameplay. Ill probably buy it for Single Player.

Halo - not so much I think, we play it at school and people who have never played an FPS before can come top 3.
