I think I have changed my mind.
Not that Homer Simpson is not worthy of my admiration, he truly is, however I though I might go for a more fitting "favourite" for me personally.
Alan Shore is a more fitting favourite for me in paricular. Whether it be assaulting and intimidating an opponent who is in the wrong yet has no legal way of being stopped or paying a barful of people to beat up one guy or even diligantly and eloquently arguing a lost cause in a courtroom, Alan Shore is a truly admirable character.
Besides I'd like to think that we are similar in our manner, and in the fact that I am a law student which is an obvious link, plus the fact that a weekly dose of "Boston Legal" and occasionally "Harvey Birdman" keeps me sane during the long tedious hours of legal readings and assignments.
Edit: He is also exceptionally good at ridiculing Scientology. (Although you may well say Scientology doesn't need the help.)
