I loved Muttrah at the start, but now so many servers run it all the time.. it's hard to get a low ping, good map server.. Forest maps ftw!

Ooooh..I just love that map sooo damn much, getting the little bird and constantly dropping off squads.. Gives me that real Black Hawk Down feeling.

agreed kyle, BF2 has all the city maps you could want, PR is all about forestry, and vegetation well it should be

It's not that they dropped it in 0.6, but some things are incompatible with it. A MuttrahV2 is being released, and I hope it will be less one-sided and a lot more fun. Hopefully, not everyone waiting for Little Birds just like people waiting for vehicles on the carrier in BF2.
Yeah surgeon, I was playing some forest maps and it was absolutely amazing. Crawling along down this thin valley, at one stage I was prone and saw them all crouch past. Needless to say, my MKSF showed them how USMC wins. Ironically, we lost though. They were very resilliant! I love PR for it.

Actually I believe that Mutrrah is not in rotation on both the iGi and Thors which are the 2 best European servers.
What is quite reasonable IMO. I'm looking forward to muttrah v2.

When you install PR you run it and select filters "same mod" and "same version". That will give you all PR servers. Player base is pretty good. Average of about 300-400 every evening and on weekends up to 600.ownership10 wrote:

To answer the most usual questions. Yes you can run the mod and vanilla BF2 at the same time. They wont interfere with each other. And yes the PR is ranked but its a separate ranking system and is in no way connected to your standard BF2 stats.
ehm if you change the grafics in PR they will also be changed in normal bf2, and if you don't have 2g og ram then expect to lower your grafics on al basrah (in 0.5 version, in 0,6 it's not that ram consuming)ownership10 wrote:

What's 0.6 like? Should I download it and upgrade to the beta? Or stick with 0.5, I'm on 0.5 at the minute but there are normally not that many populated servers on. I do get some good forest maps with a few guys though!

And it doesn't mess up the 0.5 version. You can switch between 0.5 and 0.6 easily (you get a new shortcut for 0.6)
