It's really weird. That's about my 3rd problem with vista today-

I installed bf2, patched on 1.41 and installed SF.

When I tried to play bf2 then, my screen showed me white and black pixels.

It looked like I'm starting bf2 on a windows 98.

I downloaded a new driver when I've installed vista, so that isn't the problem.

What can I do?

i find it strange than people have problems with vista i have had none since i got it. sorry i am no help. i suggest u try and reinstall bf2.

Get back to Win XP until microshaft decides that is time to make a fix about it. So yeah, you'll have to use XP until 2009 when the new windows will come out, but you'll have to use windows vista because win XP no longer has support. That's is the story of winblows.

Ive upgraded to vista and dont like it and wana switch back to XP.

I have the CD and everything for both, but if i change back to xp, will i be able to use vista again with the same product key again at a later date?

Wait till morons like the above stop dissing Vista, who have no doubt even tried it. You can tweak it, maximize its performance, it's cleaner, it's safer, it's better than XP, end of.

i installed vista but i dont like it, it doesnt run my games, my bf2 is jerky as hell and it wont run my McAfee!
i love its layout and stuff but its no good until its sorted plus i can switch to and fro as i wish xD
its a shame coz zi like the new features and stuff but it'll have to wait i mite giv it a few more days and see how it goes.

Right click on bf2 icon -> select properties -> compability -> run as xp appl. or somthing.

I dont know if it will work because i dont have vista, but a friend of mine did.
