yea just clay ore whore the door to your reactor room and u will get it
I feel it's easy to get it after the patch. (Too bad I already got all Expert Recon Badges before that patch.. Or else I'd have like 100 Pins right now..)

I got the explosives efficiency pin when i was having some fun on gibraltar. I blew up 2 walkers(4 kills) and i was securing a flag with rdx demopacks using the flag as lure so i got it for 8 rdx kills.
Actually, i m not that good at explosives, i only got basic explosives in bf2 but the pin wasnt that hard to get. If you cant get it on a full server, maybe search for a big server with about 10/15 people on so the rounds take much longer and you have more time.
Edit: if the award shows ingame but you dont get it in your stats, the server you were playing on was broken.

I have expert explosives, with over 500 kills with explosives! I get those pins on a regular basis. Not sure how many I have, but more than 10 for sure.. I'll take a look later for you..
APM's definatly count towards the pins, i got 2 of the pins going for Vet Explosives, using a lot of APM's, and a smattering of RDX here and there

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
im only a APM part-timer but i have several pins for 8kills...
RDX and APMs count as explosives (managed to test an Explosives Effeciency Pin using APMs only) so remember to spam away with them
I have the specs for about 3 weeks, just got it the other day, just keep fightin!
