When useing the sniper stabalizer how do you stabalize? Is it done automatically or not?

The scope stablizer is one of the first things I unlocked, and I didn't know you had to hold down shift until about a week ago
you do not need it... if you have the über sk!llz you can HS from 400 metres away without it

Indeed, I do not use the stabalizer anyway.
you just move the crosshair to the spot and fire before it starts swaying anyway
