i get bad glitches!

i have posted on the official battlefield 2 forums and so far no one has helped me. hope full i can get some here! here is what happens to me most of the time i play:

i have tried messing with the clocks on my vid-card and it didnt help. what do u guys think? o and im not overheating either.

Those are not glitches, they are called artifacts. The cause of them is either you have bad drivers or your video card is overheating.

Gotta love the first one..

Well these artifacts only occur, I believe, when you are overheating or your Direct x Drivers are outdated.

either the cooling on it isnt great or like others have said u have really old drivers.

yea lol...ok so they're artifacts. now its not overheating. i have a 7300gt pci-e 256mb that runs around 67-70 degrees Celsius. and now what drivers do i need to update? i already have the latest nvidia driver for my card.

Have you overclocked your card? From the looks of it the card might be bad. What size Power supply do you have? Is it running hot? Did you use Driver Cleaner to uninstall the old drivers? As you can see there's more to just throwing Drivers st the problem you need to check it all out to determine the problem.

I had a simliar experience with my 7900GTX months ago. I had eliminated the overheating, bad drivers, and a defective card after a few weeks of troubleshooting. What I figured it to be was my directX or something simliar. It ended up coming down to me reloading my whole O/S to fix the problem.

ahh my friend had a galexy and an ino3d version and the gt was factory over clocked to somthing like 560-350/700 and both artificed ,all we did to stop it was lower it to 400-400/800 and it idled at 32 degrees during gaming it wouldnt go past 50 degrees also i had a 7800gtx that artificed after trying everthing to do with cooling i took it back and it turned out to be a loose solder.

ok i installed and ran correctly driver cleaner. as soon as i get time to get on bf2 i will see if it worked
