BF2 Crosshair

A mate of mine was saying that their was a way to change the apperence of your crosshair into like different shapes like a little circle for example. I know that you can change the colour but is he right, is their a way to change the shape of your crosshair???

PS. Without using hacks or anything dodgy like tht

On our server we have found people with diifferent crosshairs but those are only cuz they r using hacks but PB never picked them up we ad to pick them up ourselfs

I dont see how different cross hairs are hacks how would they make it easier to kill someone.

Really clear and easy to see, really small - easy to get headshots.

On css if you type "cl_crosshairscale 5000" in the console it makes your crosshair really small so it's easier to line up headshots. It's aloud on css, not bf2.

Actually on BF2 it wouldn't help THAT much since the random deviation.

But anyways PB is oversensitive about any game file tweaks that aren't supposed to be tweaked. Though some hacks like mentioned above do change your crosshair and if PB could detect those hacks it would ban the players.

When you look at the PB screenshots you can see basicly what they see on their screen

On CS you can adjust the size....its helpful to make it as small and pin point as possible, gives a more exact center for distant shots.

Also BF2 adjusts the cross hairs to simulate accuracy differences...

When you are stopping running, or moving around the crosshair changes sizes...getting wider and more inaccurate when you are moving, and getting more exact when you come to a stop.

The standard unzoomed view isn't a crosshair technically (they don't cross) so make one that crosses in the centre or has a central dot and your accurate "instinctive" aiming improves noticeably. That's one of the major reasons I sucked so much when I started playing BF2, because I just hate this kind of 'crosshair' in games:

Not necessary.
Just don't clean your screen. You'll get a lot of dots and stains that you can use for orientation.

I've got a Black marker dot in the middle of my screen.

Other PC has a very small ball of bluetack stuck in the middle.

'Haxdot' in other words.

Helps a lot with unscoping the SRAW/ERYX... usually am very accurate with it too.
