I wouldn't criticize the author of the email, but the email doesn't convince me that the Iraq war is winnable or worthwhile at this point. The U.S. is fighting insurgents who hate Iran. The U.S. is trying to build a stable Iraq so it can go be Iran's best friend. Eventually the U.S. can crush the insurgents in Iraq, but helping Iran is a really shitty reward for doing it.
Its amazing that people don't know the real Iran at all, and are swallowing whole the propaganda war against them like they would swallow Dick Cheney's cock if they had the chance.
