Update: the pilot (Angel number 6) was killed, he went down with his plane.

There are reports that a Blue Angels precision flight team member has crashed a plane during a show in South Carolina.

CNN reported that at least one plane crashed into a Beaufort, S.C., neighborhood. Several homes were reported to be on fire, according to CNN.

A man who said he was a witness told CNN that he was watching the show and there were six planes, then one vanished before he saw a black plume of smoke. He said he had watched the show for about 30 minutes before the crash.

But back on topic. I have never see them live, but I do know their reputation for giving an awesome flight show.
How the pilot got out alive, and no one was hurt when the plane crashed.

I hate to speculate but I doubt he would eject from their plane over populated areas. The pilot was killed, he clipped a power line.

I hate to speculate but I doubt he would eject from their plane over populated areas.

we had an air show over here and this guys engine went out over a really populated area and he stayed with it... so considering that they're part of the military, I highly doubt he bailed...
