Punkbuster kicks me with this message...

I remember using this punkbuster updater program or something, and then I get this the next time I log into 2142, I've reinstalled and deleted my cache in my documents. any suggestions?

No, it's not, it hasn't changed, BF2 runs fine.

I had this same problem last night. Go to the punkbuster web site and follow the link for 2124. There is a issue with pnkbstrA and pnkbstrB. Just follow the instructions and remove an reinstall punkbuster. should clear it up...or at least it did for me.

its to do with some firewalls blocking the new punkbuster updates from working, I was using outpost for my firewall, but had to revert back to XP own as I couldn't configure outpost to open ports for punkbuster.
Since I started using XP own firewall I haven't seen the losing packets message anymore.
