I am a bit split between H&K and then Israeli because the Desert Eagle is a good gun and one of the most powerful ones, and really I have not heard so many things about H&K.

H&K and IMI are cool, H&K is good for tactical stuff. The DE is just for people w/ little dick syndrome. If you want reliability and and you want to know your firearm will function no matter what, you need a Glock.

The answer I, and most serious shooters, will give you is the same. Sig Sauer. Their motto is "to hell and back reliability," and they aren't kidding. Give me a sig any day. ANY day.
i must admit its the SIG sauer, its what most ex spec ops men recommend and would keep one with them wherever they went, just ask chris ryan

i voted H&K, but there is a lot behind that question, like which manufacturer makes the best .40 cal or the best revolver or 1911 style pistol. single or double action, there are many what ifs.
