LOL!
the concept is brilliant, but does a fridge magnet really have enough power to wipe one?

lol, that must suck. Thank god for USB-sticks
I managed to wipe many with a magnet when I was 5. Then again it was a bit more powerful than a fridge oneSentinel wrote:

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
maybe it would have enough power to wipe a floppy, but you actually need a really powerful electromagnet to wipe an actual hard drive. My friend tried with like.. every magnet he could find and he couldn't wipe his hard drive.
So a fridge magnet just won't do when the feds be knockin'?CommieChipmunk wrote:

Idiots, we live with them, but we cannot teach them ANYTHING that has to do with PC's :]
Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
