way to go with ANARCHY... if everyone went around with their own guns being free doing what they want you get anarchy...

Having a gun does NOT make you free. Have you been brainwashed or something? Freedom and weapons DO NOT go together.
ur right, guns didnt help us beat hitler....
Hmm..  I feel you totally missed the point on that one.

freedom and weapons dont go together?? why do you think its the 2nd ammendmant in the constitution... if you cant own weapons, then the gov has more power and it gives you less freedom

Its a simple fact that the American constitution isnt all that... infact most of it is pretty retarded. You "founded" your country on it and yet most of it is ignored these days anyway. Its almost like smitty think the constitution is a holy book, hes the American version of a religious fanatic. And dont give me crap about that being an "insult", that is my opinion he is fanatical about guns and gun ownership to a point where debating with him isnt debating, its talking to a brick wall. Your the same parker. Usmarine who i disagree on most things with atleast isnt like you guys.

no, that is where you are wrong.
i have stated many issues with the firearm problem in this country. in fact earlier today i went pretty deep into US history to find our infatuation with firearms and the people that used them so famously.
see the reason you think i am like talking to a brick wall about firearms, is because you think your solution is great....but its not, and you dont like to hear that.
you think that anyone who likes guns is a "prick" that "needs to prove something".
you have already proven today that you lack the required knowledge to propose a rational solution to the united states firearm problem. yet you still think you "know" america enough to stick your nose in our business.

no i think the reason you dont like to debate with me about firearms is your potential for failure.

lol solution isnt great aye? Well please explain how it works pretty damn well across most of Europe.

As to what you do... I dont realy care. But when someone claims gun control doesnt work im going to speak up because that is just plain bullshit.

well lets see....why wouldnt the european version of gun control work in the USA?
lol, once again you prove that your "american cousins" or your trips to this great country havent taught you enough about this to understand how it works.

the number one reason why that wouldnt work here is...............criminals already have masses of firearms......amazing isnt it? i know, its incredible to think about....so you tell me, how would we disarm all of these criminals? that would be imo one of the first things that would need to happen in order to control guns to that extent.
so you come up with a rational answer to that question and we will further delve into why that type of control would fail here.

...Land of Free, and home of the Brave!

EDIT: Gun Control might work for your country, but it will be centuries, if ever, that the US Govt. will be able to strip away that right, from the citizens over here. I guarantee that!

Smitty you hit that right on the head.
Vilham, you should re-read his reply. It make absolute sense. Or is it you just don't understand? Probably the later.

That is the only reason I will ever support or commend the lack of gun laws in America.

Which is absolutely horrible, and tells you how corrupt our government is.  I should be able to feel safe and content enough with my government to be able to trust them with my security.  I shouldn't have to have a gun just in case they really take over and we have to rebel.

Other then that, you can hunt with a bow and arrow if you really feel the need to kill a defenseless animal.

Government's are produced to allow for impartial third party arbitration of wrongs -- hence removing the self perpetuated self execution of law.

Yet, in the process of doing so it has become coercive to the point that it demands many a thing from its citizens that they would not normally require their governments to provide for / protect / help / intervene etc...

Am I free from the very real vortex that is society in terms of conformity...hell this is one of the STRONGEST drivers against freedom around the world CONFORMITY TO YOUR SOCIAL STRUCTURE! If you cannot "function" within these arbitrary relative limits of existence you are deemed "worthless" / "unproductive". Even the terms used to describe the individuals have some very real social requirements outside the individuals interest should he chose to disagree with certain aspects of social life.

As for security well -- well if all you have is the illusion of freedom how the hell does one secure that which does not exist!?

Essentially -- security will only be another socially determined constraint that if for some ungodly reason you happen to reason differently society will essentially transpose the concept of enemy on you. BOOM instant freedom loss / security loss.

And now i sleep....
