what this guy says is hit and miss.

Some correct some incorrect,

broad and sweeping staements.

It isnt worth while to watch.

Looks like the same "foreign speak" pieced together with English subtitles (notice all the 'cuts' in the video).

Interesting, but the source is questionable.  Perhaps it just "artistic license".

Assuming this is an honest account from an Arabian, and not some type of propaganda targeted towards the 18-30 year-olds, its interesting how the same news accounts are intepreted 180 degrees what we hear.

For example, when he is talking about the Lebonon-Israeli war last summer all the reports we heard was that 2 Israeli soldiers were kidnapped, but what he said was they they crossed into Lebonon - interesting twist.


So who is feeding whom propaganda?

In my opinion, Israel along with Turkey is the last bit of civilization in that dust bin, and I'm glad they're there. Besides, if Muslims claim to have access to all their ancient lands, they'd realize that the Israelis got there first. The Arabs that are now the Palestinians came about 1,000 years too late to have a legitimate claim.

Israel says they didn't, Lebanon says they did. They've been saying that for ages. It's hardly propaganda unless you're of the "Infallible Israel" school of thought.

Bill Clinton didn't even try to capture Bin Ladin. I dont think one cruise missle into Afghanistan counts as a mission to capture anything. Sure bush hasn't captured him either, but at least he sent ground troops into Afghanistan to look for him.

At least?! Doesn't that still make him a miserable failure?

Osama Bin Laden was gone before Bush came to power. Clinton admitted that, although he tried to deny it later.
And no, your reasoning is invalid because long before the Egyptians held sway over the area, the Hebrew people dominated the area, before going into mass migrations into Egypt. The Mitanni and Canaanites overran the area. They then were defeated and made vassals to the Egyptian king Thutmose I and Thutmose III. The Cannanites and Mitanni settled in the region, only to be repulsed by the Israelites in their return journey. (the surviving Canaanites either assimilated into Israel or joined their brothers north in the Phoenician cities) The ancient Palestinians were actually Mycenaeans, who made up the Sea Peoples. The Sea Peoples were dispersed by the Egyptian fleet under Ramses III, and they settled west of Israel.
Both Israelites and Palestinians were overrun by Assyria and then Babylon. The Persians came, and some Israelites were allowed to go back, and then came the Hellenistic peoples, then the Romans, then the Parthians, followed by the Persians, and the Byzantines. The Modern Palestinians are actually the Arabs who overran the Byzantine held areas, and maintained a tight grip onto them until the modern day.

The entire logic of the original inhabitants is terrible. Perhaps the easiest way to express this is to remind ourselves that all this occurred thousands of years ago, and it is debatable over who really was first there. Similarly, if we were to give the land to who was there first, such as the First Nations of the Americas, then we not only would have to destroy nations such as Canada and the United States, but much of the world. Neither should religious arguments hold any sway. However, I would like to hear your support of Native American nations over the current white nations because of ancient claims.

Essentially, we can only care about the current inhabitants. At the time of the creation of Israel, Canaan was a land mostly inhabited by Arabs, or Palestinians. The influx of Jews was mostly due to immigration, particularly illegal immigration. To make an analogy, it would be as if Mexican immigrants created a state in Texas because they believed themselves the rightful owners of it thousands of years ago. That is why some Palestinians are insistent on the entire destruction of Israel itself- To them, these people came to their land and took it to make their own nation. Their lives have been ruined by Israel. Now, that does not mean that irresponsible Palestinian authorities or other Arabic nations have aided their cause entirely, but nationalist, religious and racial sentiments have enticed the Palestinians against the Israelis, along with the creation of the Zionist state.

I have said that we cannot keep relying on the past, though. While I fundamentally disagree with the creation of Israel, its current status must be kept. Most Israelis were born there, and see it as their home, just as Canadians such as myself call our country home, no longer British at all. To tell someone they must leave because of the past is wrong, and for that reason, we have a situation where both have equal claim to the land, and the Palestinians are still angry over what has happened. They will still be angry until their lives improve. Just as with all people, the need for violence will disappear when their lives are better. From Western nations to Japan, to Islamic Turkey, better conditions mean less of a need to use violence. The Palestinians need their own nation. They need better lifestyles. Then, no longer will they blame Israel for what happened. But, until then, neither nation can claim the land with more righteousness. The creation of the Zionist state is of the past, and irrelevent.
