Whenever I join a 16 player map it kicks me out right as I click "Play Now" with an error message that tells me that the "Server only allows unmodified content. Revert your version to the current official version to play" or something like that.

I uninstalled the game, SF, and all other mods I had. Reinstalled the game, and patched to 1.41. I can STILL not play in 16 player maps!!!

Does anyone have any ideas, or should I do a manual uninstall and try reinstalling all over again?

dont use the play now feature

and something you have done or edited a file has caused you to be kicked by the MD5 checks

strange a reinstall didnt fix it

try deleting your bf2 folder in your doccuments and see if that does anything

Thanks for the reply. I'm not using the play now feature. After running BF2.exe I find a server and join it, after loading, and verifying, I click the play button (bottom right hand corner of screen) and that's when it kicks me out.

I reckon I'm gonna try a manual uninstall and see if that helps any

Remember to delete it out of registry too. IF AND ONLY IF, you know what you are doing. If you don't know the first thing about the registry, don't touch it.

Well I did the manual uninstall, reinstalled, and now it's working. BAH but now I have to listen to all those f*cking tips everytime I do anything.

On the bright side, my game is running approximately 10x smoother.

I had the same problem right after i installed Sandbox. I made my own server in sandbox, messed with the gravity and stuff, then it wouldnt let me join an online game.  I reinstalled and it worked perfectly.  I dont know what your problem is though, a reinstall usually does the trick.
