BF2S Forums Sig comment pls

Try to get your colors to match, and not to depend on filters too much - and remember the golden rule: blending + lighting > all.

First of all. The colours you have chosen are not directly contrasting colours to the render, nor are they close to the chosen colours of the render. Thus already screwing up the sig effect.
The effect you have created is nice, but needs touching up. Grab a brush tool, or smudge and smudge a duplicated layer of the render, underneath it.
You have successfully blended in the render, but the effect does not show as the colours are badly mixed.

Now, for the text... Get rid of it. Start fresh. Your focal point is the render, not the text. It is too dark, the font is not suitable, it isnt blended in well.
Try creating some overlaying effects for it.

If this is one of your first then chapeau to you. Beginners normally have a lot to learn. You seem to have learnt quite quick. You just need to get some stuff right.

Much, MUCH, MUCH better. Well done.
Now add a duplicated layer of the render and smudge it with your brushes. Grab a smusging tut from Deviantart. Or just brush a tiny bit in the background.

Smudge outwards.
And yes, she does look like she is holding her boobs.
Find a smudge tut, you are default smudging, which is not the technique.
Just type in "smudging" in deviantart. I guarantee you will find a perfect tut; explaining the basics and the more advanced shit.
