Yeah I have had this problem since I bought the game, sometimes I can't connect to servers because I've failed to connect. It's ok since I can find another server. Then sometimes I get disconnected from the server, and now it's been happening more often. Any help?

Specs:

Processor:  AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Memory: 2gb ram
Video Card: HIS radeon x1800xt 512 mb
Operating System: xp home

I've had it happen more frequently too. But as far as I know, there's not much that can be done about it.

Do you have a good Internet connection?  That sounds like it's the most reasonable explanation.

Eh? This is 2142 latest patch is 1.20 and then there's 1.24 beta and I'm using 1.20. Yeh I think my connection is prety good, maybe it's the gamespy then.

Yeah + have you installed a dual-core optimizer? I never had any problems after installing that. *i use AMD*
And for shure EA's problems dont help at all

Yeah I got amd dual-core optimizer before I bought 2142.
