However, this programme hit a nerve. Iam not homosexual, nor American but how the hell can people be so blindly obedient to a faith which usually decieves all logic?
They encourage children no older than 6 years old to "hate fags". They picket the funerals of soldiers, and abuse those who are seen supporting Gay rights.
I meen, they refuse to marry, tell those who do not believe in the bible they will go to hell and openly slander those who stand for human rights that everyone (i.e Gay people) are entitled to, like Princess Diana who "Split open hell" and was a fag for standing up for peoples liberties. It is disgracefull.
They the flew over 100 miles to Illinois to picket a dead mans funeral (a soldier) to "spread the word of the gospel".

The Phelps family is a deeply religious family who uses events such as American soldier's funerals as platforms for communication of their beliefs: that a soldier's death is "God's revenge on the US for tolerating homosexuality.
Originally it started as pickets of places where gay people congregated - a local park becoming a cruising area which they objected to, and then when Aids came along they said it was punishment for homosexuality and they began picketing Gay Pride parades and marches and also then the funerals of people who died of Aids
