I posted this in another thread then decided it might be worth its own.


We could have brought the Muslim world to its knees as it appears they deserved.

So it would seem that the Muslim hatred of the Jews reaches farther out than the establishment of Israel in 1947( 2 years after WW2), as we are lead to believe. It is apparent that down right intolerance of others and their beliefs is at the root of all this non-sense.  The Muslim world actually allied with Hitler to wipe out the Jews. So much for Israel being the reason for this hatred, it is the Jews that are hated, and persecuted.

I don't paticularly like your sources. Both are pro-Zionist, anti-Muslim sites - and therefore I find it hard to believe this information to be accurate.

The rest of the world grew up, no one else thinks that way anymore and well, hell, I feel a lot safer now having nukes now then if people had nukes 500 years ago, now people are driven by the conscience and dont usually fall back onto the religion and manipulate it in a sort of way that they can make anything morally right in their own mind. Right now the Mid East is the only place that is still living centuries ago, communist countries are living about 100 years or so, the hard core communists still believe in and pretty much want to force their system upon everyone else, kinda like the religious fanatics do.

I'm not trying to instigate anything but I'm just curious,  a guy I work with says his favorite country is Israel becuase that is where Armageddon begins, Jesus comes back carrying a sword and all the non-christians burn for eternity, whatever, he also thinks Harry Potter is the work of Satan.  Is that why you guys love Israel so much?  Just wondering?

I'm agnostic.

Historically speaking imo, Israel has been judged too harshly and the surrounding Arab states have done great harm to the Pallestinians.

Source 1, themiddleeastnow.com: Clearly pro-Israel. Looking on the main page of the site, they have cherry picked articles about 'the middle east', mostly to do with israel and iran. More worrying is the comments - clearly, this is not a neutral site. Some examples:

I wanna hear again how All the Muslims want is their land back and once Israel is eliminated there will be peace in the middle east, and the middle east violence stems from the creation of Israel.

I think these articles clearly show intolerance and persecution by the Muslims toward the Jews, and Israel has nothing to do with it.

Also, if all of these sources are inaccurate, wrong, lying, whatever, surely you can show some links challenging these claims.

Ok, well baby steps I guess, now that we have settled on a source, we can continue.

I don't think the Holocaust and Arabs allying with the Nazis to wipe out the Jews is a "generalization". My argument is, the Muslims were trying to eliminate the Jews long before the creation of Israel, and that the strife in the middle east is over the intolerance of Jews by the Muslims.. Persecuted so harshly that the Muslims collaborated with the Nazis to exterminate them. All I am saying is, lets re-examine who is the "religion of peace" again? Who are the instigators in the ME again?

I feel this is proof that there can no longer be questions about the tolerance, and the peaceful nature, of the Muslim religion. I also think this proves just who the real aggressors are in all of this, and who is on the defensive. The destruction of the Jewish religion and/or race is the goal of the Muslim world not just the destruction of Israel. This proves it.


Lastly, how can you say you can find anti-Semites throughout the world, given the holocaust and the persecution of the Jews along with these articles, and still maintain that the Jews are the terrorists and the aggressors, that it is the Muslims who are victimized?

I once tried to blame religion for wars in a conversation and got put rightly in my place. Men blame religion for wars, but it's just a guize, like anti-terror for oil.

So if the Muslims were afraid of British intentions, why not "eliminate" the British as a race?? Why eliminate the people the British fought for?
