Searched abit and could´nt find any thread answering my questions.

Anyone who has used the walkers on regular basis should have experienced the "bugs" that occurs pretty often. My biggest problems is the missiles sometimes when you get ni the walker your missiles while just dive straight at the ground after 10-20m making the walker completely worthless and sometimes they will chase birds in the sky after same distance. This seems to happen more frequently in PAC for me as well.

The machinegun/plasma cannon seems to be nearly as useless when this happens hard as hell to hit infantryplayers standing still.

So exept for whinging a bit here i was wondering if anyone has found a way to work around this problem maybe a little trick cheering your walker up enough to make it useful again. Now when this occurs i just abondon the walker to another teammate or blow it up myself.

missiles straight to the ground never had that problem, but if you are on about when you are trying to destroy ground defence and you fire and they just go straight to ground behind it, this is basically because you are WAY to close, the missiles in my opinion make a curve like action  (*) to hit the target roughly at the same point at perfect range, or hit side of on coming armour at a slightly lesser position, and as we should all know, to far and they will just make a nice pattern, whilst you get battered by a tank 200 yards away.

So the top gun on the walker, well really you should take a look at some info on the walkers, the top gun is actually air defence, so unless halos are flying below you then the EMP would be useless, so basically whenever i am in the driving seat alone, i am always ready to switch seats and take them down

No no no he is rights its a bug. The missiles go for maybe 15 - 20 meters and than hit the ground. You can fire them in the air even and they will still fall like bricks. It happened to me few times and what usualy fixes it it getting out and back in the walker. Just like when the walker starts shaking like mad. You jump out and back in and its ok.

I hate that! Most annoying during a Walker duel when his rockets allways hit and your rockets seam to be afraid of him.

well after all my time playing iv never come across it, well i dont really use the walker much, But i can imagine how annoying it is.

I've noticed this bug too, in particular the PAC T-39 Bogatyr, where the missiles simply arc upwards and don't hit shit, and the plasma guns do no damage to anything.  Very annoying while I'm on a stomping rampage and then I can't kill anything--easiest way to clear it up (doesn't always work) is exiting and entering the vehicle again.

I am a walker whore and I've never had this type of trouble with the walker missiles. I think you understand that the missiles are more for close range attack rather than long range and they are not heat seeking by an stretch of the imagination. So I've seen a lot of missiles go astray when fired. You CAN compensate a little bit. As far as missiles diving into the ground after 20 meters or so... I've never seen it, but around that distance they will wildly go where ever they want to, and most times, not into an enemy.

No, we're not talking about targets to far away. I'm not good at guessing distances, so I'd like to describe a real situation: I stood at silo 3 of Minsk and the enemie's walker (came from silo 2) crossed the northern bridge nearby. What's that now, 30 or 50 meters?

Im a pretty skilled walker whore too and believe me the bug exist. Its rare but it does exist. Its like your missiles are really heavy so they fall to the ground where ever you aim. Imagine firing missiles in the air as high as you can, and them hitting the ground 20 meters away from you. Jumping out and back in fixes it.
And as someone mentioned the main gun doesn't work as well. You can fire 100 bullets at someone one and he will twitch around like he is being electrocuted, but he will not die.

A bug thats should get fixed first is fireing the missiles on a APC with one person when there in not in the driver seat.  The missles just go through the APC.

I would say that it was further than 50 meters. Probably closer to 100m? If I were in a walker shooting that distance, I wouldn't expect that many, if any, would hit their target. But that's just the inaccuracy of the missiles. I've never experienced what you've stated though. I hope that it gets fixed for you. I can see how that would be frustrating.

That´s an accurate descrition, and jumping out and in again guess i will have to try that more know i have tried it a few times guess i was unlucky then nowadays i have´nt bothered.
