Console topics should not exist until a year from now when the PS3 has had time to make something of itself. I love my 360 but I know for a fact I will eventually get a PS3......wait, no I wont, Ace Combat is now on 360 (and currently not announced on PS3) so I wont need a sony system.

Games that made me want a PS3 (but now are on 360, therefor saving me $650 USD)

All these people saying Blu Ray is the future, umm sure. Let's look back a little bit. There was VHS, and there was BetaMax. Sony owned betamax, and did the same thing they are doing now. I can't remember off the top of my head but I think RCA or JVC or someone owned VHS. Technically Betamax was better, but it was too exclusive and had certain things that weren't everyday user (idiot) friendly. Well when advertising and marketing, the most familiar concept always works the best. Understand that the majority of people will go with something that sounds familiar.

I hate to say it but I think you are right on which format will win. I myself would rather see Blu-Ray win the format war but HD-DVD will win since the porn industry announced that they will be using HD-DVD. The porn industry announced years back that VHS would be the standard format over Betamax and that is the reason VHS won out and it is the same reason HD-DVD will win out. SEX SALES
