If nothing else, I am scared of Mormons becuase they force their women to be baby making machines. The most popular school at BYU for females is the School of Family Life, offering degrees in Home and Family Living, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, and Marriage, Family, and Human Development.

Hard to have a career with a degree in one of those fields.
Huh, my wife willing chose to leave her career to have our kids.  We're not Mormon, though.

Edit: Most women I know want to be home with their babies.

As far as the Mormon baby making machine thing, I think that stems from their beliefs.  Don't they believe that there's a spirit nursery where God and His wife are having sex and cranking out spirit babies? And to bring the spirit babies to earth, humans have to have offspring.  Maybe I'm thinking of another religion.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Right............and you know this how?
He's essentially right.  Much of my own family is Mormon, and I was even baptised into the church, but didn't stay long once I saw how back stabbing and hypocritical they were.  Here in Utah Mormons are worse than anywhere else.  Here they are a majority and they do pretty own the government and are completely used to getting their way.  Elsewhere they are a minority and have to learn to go with the flow a bit better.

Yes, it is pretty much expected that women will get married as soon as possible and begin having a family; no it's not written down anywhere, it just an understood thing.  Utah has the largest average family size in the entire nation, and more than 50% of our states population is <=25 years old.  This is why we have such a hard time funding our school system, and class sizes are so massive.

It's not much better for the men.  Every single healthy male is expected to go on a mission.  When that doesn't happen the parents actually start wondering what they did wrong.  The person who failed to go on their mission is looked down upon, and even the parents are shunned to some degree.  That person is also no longer capable of getting a temple recommend, which is required if they want to get married in the temple.

Now I'm not saying each and every Utah Mormon is like this, and I have known, and work with, many very nice Mormons.  However, there are enough of the "If you don't like it, leave!" Mormons in Utah to let you know you are in their capitol.  Utah and Salt Lake City is to the Mormons what the Vatican is to the Catholics.

Like I said, I went to school with them. There were, oh, 6 families in the school total. The one with the fewest kids had 6. The one with the most had 11. The family I told the story about, with all the daughters, well, how about this:

They have 7 daughters. As of right now, they are all married. The women average a child every year and a half. I think they learned that in their School of Family Life, as the most productive compromise between baby making and actually being able to raise their kids.

And more power to her. I'm not saying that women shouldn't be able to leave their careers to have kids. Just the opposite, I believe kids are better raised by a mother who lives and stays at home with them.

My point was that it's hard to get a job with a BS in Family and Consumer Studies.

I thought Mormons were bad.

Then I watched this show on public access with 3 Jewish (they wore the Star of David, however I don't know what religion they are affiliated with) people.  They claimed that the sun, in fact, does not provide light for the earth, the earth has its own light.  That the universe revolves around the earth.  That space is made up by "the white man" to keep us down.  I've never actually wanted to hit someone really hard in the face with a shovel before.
They were likely from the cult group The House of David, who are not true Jews. They use some Jewish scripture but mostly it is a crazy insane scam to steal your money. Like Scientology but not as wide spread.

.... Wait a second, how the fuck did I get quoted for saying this. I never said anything of the sort.

Anyhow, I'm sure that not all Mormons are nice, but I'm just basing my opinions on the ones I have met.

True...  Most Mormons I know have been very polite and well-humored.  Their religion is mostly full of shit, but at least they're usually nice people....

Both very true statements in my eyes. My cousins live in Ogden (sp?), Utah, which is RIGHT next to Salt Lake City, and they're very nice people. Then again, they're family so that's understandable. But I know of another Morman family that live nearby in our neighborhood, and they're a really nice family too.

Jehova's Witnesses seem somewhat nice, but are damn persistent. I literally live a block down from a church they built about 2 years after my family moved in, and every month or two, they come knocking on my door. I tell them that I'm not interested, but they always seem to come back. *sigh*
Yeah, I actually went to high school with Geoff Card, who is a son of Orson Scott Card (the author of "Ender's Game" among other things).  I went over to his house one time.  Orson seemed like a nice guy, but I vehemently disagree with his political views.

It was my quote, just misattributed.... But I'm with you. I'm sure there are not nice mormons out there, I just haven't met them. It's not like they wear signs:

Hey, I'm a Mormon jackass!

Though that would be cool if they did.

I knew a Mormon girl named Jessi. She was so fucking hot. She had a really small waist and nice rounded ass. She is in choir and literally has the voice of an angel. Here's a pic of her, sorry for the quality, camera phone:

So yeah, she didn't really do anything with anyone. I was her boss at the time and she was underage, but I would've risked jail to make sweet sweet love to her (she did turn legal before she went off to college, I'm not a perv, really...).

I'll tell you my story ( kinda odd ) but not in a post. PM me if you want the details.
But what about everyone else?

Personally, Agnosticism is the one for me, largely because I believe that the existence or lack thereof of a higher power can never be proven or disproven.

Also other, much more complex reason which I find difficult to explain even to myself.
