Stupidity or lazyness, I've noticed a collective global decrease in the quality of grammar, regardless of language. I'm actually quite fed up with it. I even had to correct the spelling of a 56 year old engineer today.
It can't be that 60% (made up stats ftw!) of the population in the civilized world are dyslexic. Some are, but most are just lazy.
I can imagine there coming a time not too far from now, when even schoolteachers can't compose a full sentence without spelling/grammatical errors.
There are two ways to go from here:
1. Continue being lazy spellers and call it "evolution of language"
2. Hit everyone on the melon with a 20lb dictionary
Edit: If Sarge would like to rewrite his OP a bit, I would gladly send this one to D&ST (although the poll options are a bit one-sided, this one could make a good discussion)
I need around tree fiddy.
