Let me guess... the new beta of forceware ?
there is a reason that it is called a beta, it means that it is not yet fully developed, but still in the testing phase... i think the latest (fully developed) driver is 97,31 or something like that... newer than that it is not fully tested and will not work in all situations with all programmes... thats why they have a beta, to test and fix these issues...
so if you have the new beta you should report the bug to Nvidia so that they can put a solution into the code and then you have done a good deed today
if you have the 97,31 (or something like that) you should be able to run 2142, it works fine on my 7900GTO...
