Whether or not Mao pulled the trigger, he was responsible in one way or another for the deaths of about 100 million Chinese over the period of time he ruled.  I'd say Kai-Shek pales by comparison in terms of brutality.

They do have a choice.  They can say "Fuck China."  They make plenty of money outside of China, so if they refuse the wishes of the Chinese government, they'll be blocked, but they'll retain some dignity.

Wow, we'll compare someone who never actually ruled the country, and only held any power for a much shorter time, and still use absolute rather than relative numbers.  That............that's an interesting method.  So, then, the US is a much more evil country than Iran.

It depends on how you define evil.  I can see how some people might think America is more evil than Iran.  I would disagree with them, but I'm sure there's a way you could argue for that view....

Well, it is true that we have entered more wars than Iran in the last 100 years, but the difference between Mao and us is the difference between killng a large chunk of your family (100 million Chinese citizens under your rule) and killing people that pull a gun on you or your friends (Nazies, Imperialist Japanese, Communist Koreans, Communist Vietnamese, Iraqi invaders, Serbian murderers, and insurgents).

We aren't talking about the difference between Mao and the US, we're talking about the difference between Mao and Chiang Kai Shek and comparing it to the difference between Iran and the US.
