I'm gonna go with logistics because you can have the biggest armed forces in the world but if you can't feed it, or fuel it it will be worth absolutely nothing.

I agree with your point, logistics is very important, but without men in the field who would fire the weapons or take a village? Remember infantry did the greatest sacrifice during the WWII.=JoD=Corithus wrote:
This has been covered in a topic of mine from many a moon ago....infantry is usless if you can't feed them, air power is useless if your planes don't have fuel, same with naval vessels and armor.
Without a good logistical supply chain, nothing moves, nothing fights, and all aspects of your military, no matter how high tech or effective, just became useless.
Logistics, plan and simple.
Oh, and superslim, your 5 ton truck dosen't get anything done if it dosen't have fuel itself.
How did the infantry get to the fight? Get their weapons? Get the ammo for those weapons? Get food and water and medical supplies so they can survive?sergeriver wrote:

Without infantry, you can't invade a country. Without a Navy, you can't ship infantry to other continents.paranoid101 wrote:
