Along with popularity comes risk. With many admirers comes many foes. As soon as you get it the video charts you are on a ticking timer if you have broken the law when you posted the video, since a couple of pissed of people are all it takes to bring you down. I'm sure that even the mods on these forums would agree that clicking "Report" is a valid rebuttal to something you find offensive if and only if it violates the rules. No rule break and it will just reflect badly on the person/people raising the report.
Can you honestly say that if the video had been posted without the soundtrack you believe it would have been removed?
edit: And we all know that people using soundtracks like that does much more to promote music than it does to damage "revenue", just look how many people have been asking about the track.... just because something is pretty much harmless or potentially even beneficial, doesn't mean arseholes won't legislate against it (e.g. marijuana).
