Bottom Two Strings.
On a guitar it's E & A.
NOTE: Most people are confused and think it's B & E, but they are wrong. On a guitar, the side closest to you with the thicker strings is considered the bottom, while the side closest to the ground with the thinner strings is considered the top.

So.. it's a guitar string tuning preference poll?
E+A = Standard setup
E♭+A♭ = Dropped standard
D+G = Both strings dropped 1 full note
D+A = "Drop-D"
B+E = Dropping the tune by "a string" in order to imitate 7-string guitars. Used by many nu-metal bands. B+E means that the following D-string should in that case also be dropped to A.
My choice is Drop-D. Used much by e.g. Tool and RATM
