The coroner ruled Andrea Nelson’s mysterious 2003 death was accidental, never mind that her name surfaced only a few days earlier in connection with a Tustin Police Department internal-affairs investigation involving sex, drugs, corrupt cops and a since-closed Santa Ana strip club.

Man, when cops do this kinda shit, it shakes your faith in the foundation of society.
Now, at this point these are " allegations ", and I don't expect much to come out of the lawsuit: after all, some of the customers getting serviced in the limos to and from Las Vegas were undoubtedly the judges and prosecutors who would be investigating and trying the case.

I hope they charge the officers involved with murder, and prostitution and anything else they can think of. I hope they get sentanced to long stays in general population.

Does anyone else find it odd that whenever someone dies they wanted to grow up and help people? They never wanted to grow up, have economic security, marry, have a couple of kids, grow old and retire. They always wanted to help people.

It wasn't being piloted, but proposed. I honestly don't know where it is atm, but the vibe coming off of the government is that it will happen the only question is when.

At the moment the Chief Commissioner and the government are in a shit fight because the government made a deal pre-election with the police union to issue officers with semi-automatic handguns (Glock something or others IIRC) without talking to her. Personally I don't think the police need semi-automatic handguns, and I don't want them to have semi-automatic handguns. Tasers, on the other hand, are a good idea IMHO.

Shit, I read that wrong... I had thought the article was saying the police killed a prostitute informant. Nevermind... I guess how this applies is that if prostitution is legal, then it will be something that people won't kill other people over if the threat of exposure is there.

In other words, this woman supposedly knew something that the cops didn't want revealed, and she got killed. If it's a legal practice, then there's no reason for someone to kill to keep it secret.

This admittedly sensational story is hard to believe.

It will make national headlines soon and hopefully be a scandle big enough to land many revenue collectors and highwaymen police in prison.
