Figured after Dezert's thread there must be a few people in these forums that are into biking, so just curious to see how many of us there are. Just post the kind of riding you do, what bike you have, maybe vids of yourself and stuff.

Definetly, ill try get a picture of my bike soon, i love to mountain bike and whats more there is a sweet trail just 5-10 mins down the road from me so im sorted.

I used to a couple years ago ... went as far as doing a 150mi road tour (Virginia Dare).

Mountain biking was more fun imo.

I cycle quite a bit. Currently using a Trek 2400 (I think). 22 1/2" aluminium hardtail frame, suspension forks.

This may be useful to me, in fact. I've been thinking about construcing a set of specialised gears lately, and I've been wondering if I need to adjust the entire deralleur system, or if I can just chop and change the gears as I see fit.
Since, frankly #6 is too low for cruising but just right for acceleration, and #7 is only good for cruising because it's a few steps higher, and the resultant confusion makes the hill I live on partway between the two. I figured I could keep a few of the lower gears, and add a range of higher ones for road use.
