How to earn money to buy a new rig!

Does anyone have any ideas how I could raise some money. I am still in school at the moment and I don't have a job.

Any help would be much appreciated as I have to raise €1,500 from scratch in 9 months.

supermarkets/stores whatever, they usually need people, young etc.

so then be patient and stop being so materialistic, save up money, and set a goal and work toward it. Thats how i did mine. Im 22 and finally had enough money this summer to build a new computer. Not everyone can just drop thousands at the drop of a dime for a new computer or anything of that matter...your computer can obviously play bf2 right now so your alright.

indeed save up money, ask money for birthdays etc don't spend the money you get for birthdays etc. before you have saved up enough.

tbh it's not the most important thing right now. Next year is transition year and you don't do anything but mess around in class and get no homework. I've been thinking about a GOOD pc for a while and getting some experience building them. I thought building a really good comp would be a good project over transition year considering i will have nothing else to do...

I sold candy in school for self profit. Against the rules (up to 3 day suspension) i still did it and the teachers didnt mind also. Made about 400-500 from selling candy at school.

He's got too much time to work because he's studing for school? Dude if you don't have enougy time to mow a lawn or do some chores for neighbors to make money you shouldn't have enough time to play video games. I'd say stick to the studing so you get to a good collage, then get a good job and by 2010 you will have a nice house, car, rig, etc...

naa i hear ya...its just the people on here that can build sick computers...are older/working...if your still young and stuff...then you cant expect to have a good computer unless mommy and daddy are droppin the cash for you. So just do what everyone else really has to do and save up. Thats really the only way. And get a job....lol...sucks to think about but.

You could try Moola. It's a website where you start off with $0.01 and you play games with other people. If you win, you double. If you lose, you lose whatever you bet (as you earn more money you can choose how much to bet). They also have a search page that will give you random amounts of money up to 4 times a day. If you are really lucky Moola will allow you to double your penny all the way up until $10,737,418.24, but good luck with that, as currently (at the time of this post) the highest level anyone is playing is $1,310.72 (that is bet half of that and if you win you get that). You'll need an invite though, pm me if you want one.

Otherwise, you're going to have to work, whether it be an official job or a crapload of "under-the-table" jobs (i.e. mowing, babysitting, etc.).

1. I'm only starting so save up now
2. I don't play that much games at the moment
3. I don't mind not having a good pc. But it IS something that i would like. So with all the spare time next year i want to make one.

Ok so here's a real idea for you. As seen in an other post on this site I will link it when I find it. Propose to someone on the internet who lives far away from you, cry about how much you love the person and set up a paypal account.

Then ask people to donate money to the account so you can get to this person. It's called scaming but it might work.. That is the only way I can think of getting that money without working.. Also pan handling the bus stop might work for you.

Get a job, deliver newspapers, mow yards, walk dogs... There's gotta be something you can do. I started delivering newspapers when I was 11, then got a job at a chicken joint down the street from my house when I was 13. Almost every one of my friends started mowing yards around that same age. Offer to pull weeds in your neighbors yard for a few dollars.

DON"T, however, listen to that nincompoop who's telling you to gamble. That's a sure-fire way to LOSE every last penny you have. Hey commando: I thought christians weren't supposed to gamble, and here you are telling some kid to do it.

if you are good with pcs you can custom build them for computer illiterate people. and for each one you build you get a couple 100. its crazily easy to raise cash that way. that way i made $5500 profit last year, already $3000 this year. total time i spent on the building was maybe 3 weekends. really pays off
