Well, I have a story that may take a while to tell, so sit back, grab a soda and enjoy.
One night, much like tonight, ah cut the fiction. Fact is much more interesting and awesome. Myself along with DeathAngel, Velasco, Rocky, Getsmart, and CptGrrrr decided to go into a server. I hop on, do a quick search and deside to get into a server called "Mad Max Thunderdome." I, along with the other 5 have never been in the server before, so it was a new experience. Joined about halfway through the round as mec. The Mec side was down to 1 spawn and the entire US team was there camping with 4 attack choppers, Tanks, AA, you name it. Worse part was, they never tried to get the flag, just sat there spawncamping. I personally died 3 times before I could even join the =WFC= Squad. Because of this I checked the teams: The teams were even 20-20 but the US team had 2 MajGen. and nothing less than 1st Lieutenant on their team. Our team (other than =WFC= members) were a rank of Gunny Serg. and lower, including 3 privates. Needless to say, we managed to kill about 4 of the tanks before we ran out of tickets to end the round.
So the next round starts and I take squad leader. Knowing that the Clan that runs the server is an Aircraft "Whoreing" clan, I order my guys to spawn on me to take their main base right from the start. I get back there and sure enough all 5 of my guys spawn right on me. We take that flag within 10 seconds and hear the sound of 3 aproching choppers. I run and find cover inside of the unfinished towers (don't know what they really are) to provide a spawnpoint for my squad if they get killed. Well these choppers finish the squad off in seconds. I then instruct my guys to grab AT so we can actually fight back. We do our best to fend off these guys, DeathAngel getting the finnishing hits on most of them. But eventually they take it over and kill me and my men.
So I start back to take the base again, because in the time we took holding that flag, their bombers couldn't reload, and all the choppers were on us, the rest of our team actually managed to get 4 flags. But because they regained it, their bombers were ripping our team apart again and we started losing flags fast. At this point, Velasco created his own squad because he managed to get into a jet and parachute over the enemy's airbase. It was only Deathangel and Myself in the squad now. We once again took the base and things looked much like they did before, 3 choppers and now even armor came rolling in to help. We fended them off for a good 5 minets, Velasco even shot down an incomming jet with his tank he hopped in. But eventually got taken down once again.
So I deside while Velasco and his crew are going and pushing on the Airbase again, Deathangel and I would go off and try to take the dam itself. We manage to take the flag within the dam and suddenly there was 2 choppers on us again. Now because there were only 2 of us, DeathAngel and I started a new stratigy. I'd call out a target and he'd confirm that he saw it and we'd shoot as close as we could to the same time. This way, the hovering chopper would get hit with 2 Eryx rockets (AT) before they had the chance to run away. With this techneque, DeathAngel and myself took down 8 choppers easilly. We slowly made our way up the dam, fireing from spots that were well covered and not a normal place infantry is found. We eventually made it to the top of the dam and about to move on to another flag.
DeathAngel, being the clutz that he is, somehow managed to fall off of the level we were on, so now had no way of getting to the flag we were going to. But because of this, we stalled for 20 seconds. Just enough time for 2 of the clan members to roll up right above me in a jeep and jump down into an empty chopper that spawns within the dam. I tell DeathAngel, and we both line up our shots. Boom* Boom. 2 hits and the chopper's gone. We were esthatic because we really were on fire that round. So we deside to sit there and see if they came back. Sure enough the same 2 guys do the exact same thing, jump down into the chopper. So DeathAngel and I do the exact same thing we did before. Each guy shoots at the same time and boom, they're gone.
Now DeathAngel and I are so happy that we're actaully keeping these guys out of the sky, the only thing they are good at. All of the sudden across the screen reads this: =WFC=DeathAngel[3rd] has been banned for hacking Now I can vouch for him, I've played with DeathAngel as long as he's been in the clan, going back to Spearhead in 1st battalion. I know he doesn't hack, he's terrible So Velasco and Myself ask the guys, why was he banned, he doesn't hack. Their responce was that he had a hack that fired Eryx rockets without a reload. Now this really got everyone laughing. They claim that they have a screenshot of it, so we asked them to show us. They said they'd post it on our forums, but I doubt that we'll ever see it. Anyway, they started banning all the =WFC= members for reasons includings spamming and smactards.
Now the only reason that the 6 of us thought of for the bans is because we actaully had a chance of winning the round. The admins of the servers were tired of us blowing up their choppers that they just got rid of us all. I can almost garantee that if they were to treck outside of a chopper, they'd be dead before they could spot us. So don't go into the Mad Max Thunderdome unless you plan on letting them spawncamp you. I know I will never go back (Kinda because I'm banned) and hope that no one else does as well.
