First, i did a search and found nothing on the forums, so away i go. 

I could have sworn the claymores always had the appropriate text on them;

FRONT TOWARD ENEMY

But as i was fooling around in single player the other day my claymores all show this

Yes, they do. It's "This side towards enemy" in Swedish (DICE = Swedish).

...Although I could swear it looks more like "This side not friendly".

As said above, "Denna sida mot fienden" = "This side towards enemy"

I swear this has been covered before, but the thread titles have probably been "OMFG!", "WTF Textz0rs!"" or something else, which makes the search.. ..well, fail.
