Think I can get away with just stealing the cockpit? Think they would miss it?blademaster wrote:

Couldn't do without it. I use macros for EVERYTHING (I.E Photoshop, 3DS Max or any program that saves steps...The Nostromo N52 is somewhat limited in macros..But still works. BTW, never really used the macros for BF2, I seemed to do ok w/o them.Gravity wrote:

well i was in the airforce for a week and the f16 had the joystick on the right, the throttle on the left and i seriously doubt that they would make a difference in airplanes, the old planes might have it in the middle i don't know, but modern fighters got it in the right side of the cockpitTigerXtrm wrote:
Very cool project dude! Keep it up.
But seriously... how would you fly decently with the joystick on the right?
And whoever said that modern fighters have it on the right; post picture now because I think it's major bullshit.

Wait, so for now you'll just have your one aforementioned tv for your custom cockpit, but once you get your cockpit built, you'll play with the single tv, and when not playing, work on this diy projector, which (and here is where the mystery lies) when finished, you will ditch the tv and use your cockpit with the projector? If so, dang, I wish I had some time, tools, and money to have as much diy fun, and once you're finished with both projects you'll have one hell of a custom gaming station!PASSUBY wrote:

Most US fighters developed post Vietnam has a right handed stick and left handed throttle, excepting the F-18E/F, Super Hornet, and the F-15. This includes the F-16, F-22, and I think the F-35 also features this layout. I think all European fighters retain the center mount stick, excepting a couple Russian offerings. I believe the ideology behind the right hand stick is that it provides a control benefit at high G loads. The main detriment, AFAIK, is that pilots can't switch hands, fly with the left hand and manipulate cockpit goodies with the right, which is mostly a habitual thing anyway.TigerXtrm wrote:
