i play recon as a spec ops, not so much a sniper, so rdx, apm, lambert, sometimes camo.
Remember Me As A Time Of Day
Either I go sniper with stock weapon, APM and Active Camo (run and hide if anyone triggers my APM).
Or I go Titan-kaboom with Lambert, APM and RDX. And it works!

Since opening the Lambert I mostly "lambert + c7 RDX demo pack + IT-33 active cameo", but sometimes I really like to "reach out and touch someone" from a distance.

At the moment I play Recon only on the ground and switch to Assault as soon a Titan is open (collecting time and heals for gold heal). Therefore I take the Lambert (still a nice assault weapon), APMs (to defend silos I left) and RDX (against armoured vehicles). Occasionaly I switch to the Zeller shortly just to go for a sweet revenge.
I usually only play "Sniper" on certain conquest maps where a steady enemy ticket drain is benificial for the team.

People make fun of apm spamming. But getting the gold explosives gallantry badge was DAMN FUN!!! I wish their was a platinum badge, because I would try for that as well!!!
However, since I've gotten the badge, I don't place apm's nearly as much being that I don't have any sort of goal to shoot for!

RDX + Lambert + ZOMGBBQHAX = phun
I don't think it's useles, but it's not necessarily my first choice going into battle. If I get taken out by armor, I like to spawn back at that silo and camo over and drop a few RDXs and defend the silo. It's just such a great way to sneak up on armor. It IS useless against infantry... you'll get spotted too easily.SGT_Squirtle wrote:

Sniper + Titan defense = easy headshots and lots of titan defender pins
i use the APMs to place around flags that the squad has just taken, then move to the next flag, i always drop about 2 rdx as they are a waiste, how many times have you come across a flag, or silo and a tank or walker turns up, HA HA ill use rdx, but b4 you can even get the 4th one on your history, so my kit normally is APMs, LAMBERT, 3 RDX, and SLB
