Well, for the record, I've got an exgirlfriend (we're still on really good terms) in Sydney, and I know THA lives in Canberra...and I know a couple people in the Gold Coast. So...Sydney and the Gold Coast are places I pretty much have to go.

I probably won't be driving since I have no idea if I'd even be able to since I have a license from the states, and I don't know what your crazy laws are down there.
...and, I'll admit, I don't know the layout of Australia all too well. I know there's basically nothing in the middle...and all the cool shit is on the east coast...but how far apart are Melbourne, Sydney, and Gold Coast?
