I sometimes play blue cause it kicks ass, use the MISSINGNO cheat and get like 350 rare candies and masterballs.

I have that game, have played it for days... Got Silver afterwards. I caught them all in both games. I never got myself a GBA, so I haven't joined the trolley further... But hell, it was fun!

Nowadays I just write, do homework and shoot people on the net. I find games like that a bit easy now, it's more fun to play against real people.

I had the original blue and red versions and traded with a friend to catch them all. All I got was a message that said good job. It might as well have told me to fuck myself. I was also 14.

Ice pokemon. Thats it. In the same situation, picked up my version (yellow) out my wardrobe, and havnt really put it down since. Past the elite four now though

You failed to Lance? Please I didn't even try to level up my pokemons when I had Bulbasaur on such a high level at the end(It was my main pokemon) and I used top 2 attacks on one pokemon to kill it. I did run out of attack ammo so I had to find an item to refill it. There was none. So I got Mewtwo the super pokemon and used him.

Bulbasaur + Mewtwo = Easy win vs any pokemons

Later on when I just used the tournaments to level up my pokemons I could use my main one with one attack all the time to kill each one of them.

If you still have problems get the Fish that can barely do anything at all and level him up to the next stage. Level that one up a lot and you'll got yourself a killer pokemon.

Btw while we are bragging on how many pokemons we have I got 386 of them. Beat that. Yes that's EVERY Single pokemon you can have in the Sapphire version. All thou I was to bored to hunt them down normally so I used cheats and got most of them on lvl 100. I only did it in pure curiousity.

Level 100 Blastoise
Level 100 Venasaur
Level 100 Charzard
Level 89 Scyther
Level 98 Mewtwo

And I stopped playing the game then.
