1st one

is there an FPS lock on BF2?

as i cant seem to get past the 100 FPS Mark

im always running round with 100FPS on high with 1280 x 1024 with 6AA

maybe there is no fps lock i dont know but it just doesnt go past that

2nd question

will another gig of ram ( currently 1GB of DDR2 ) in Dual Channel affect FPS or just my loading times

game.lockFPS 200

Type that in the console and it will be capped at 200. Ajust to your delight. 2GB is highly recommended.

naw i havnt done it that way

open up your Init.con file

add game.lockFPS 0

that way you dont need to do that console command everytime i join a server

might help someone else btw if your having to do that

totally off topic but if i increased FPS would that meant that it takes more downloads when i play onilne?
