The music sucks and I cannot understand the text, but the last landing is nuts. He is almost perpendicular to the runway.
Dude, that is sooo trippy
Wow. Damn, gotta give some major credit to the pilots pulling that off.
lol...this guy needed some help from those guys.
Sweet video. I remember seeing that a long time ago, they were certifying the 777 to establish it's crosswind landing component. You would think side loading the gear on such a big jet would blow the tires.usmarine2007 wrote:

I could be way wrong, but isn't the trip 7 gear supposed to stay in-line with the runway no matter which way the aircraft is "crabbed?" Or is that just theory?D6717C wrote:

First video = old
Second WOW. Must have been incredibly turbulent. Good thing he didn't copy the Paris airshow Airbus attempted flyby.

Pretty impressive how fast the engines responded in the second one. You can hear when he firewalls the throttle.Stubbee wrote:

I don't know if this was wind shear or mountain waves.......but damn.

Wow marine, i was watching that in my aviation class last week, most airplanes are designed for the maximum crosswind component. which that landing is very normal
talk about compensating for wind resistance
Never forget where you came from.(T)eflon(S)hadow wrote:

Shit those videos look cool.

What do the pilots/crew tell the passengers before they land like that? I bet at least one person was looking out the window and noticed they were flying sideways...
They say nothing, those landing are common I think...

I wouldn't say they were common dude.-=raska=- wrote:

I wouldn't say they were common at all. I've flown hundreds of times, and I've never had cross wind anything like as bad as any of those videos.usmarine2007 wrote:
