I find some of the things people say in these forums pretty over-the-top, particularly in the DS&T sections. Some of the real extremists in these forums (on both sides) scare me more than terrorists, flesh-eating bacteria, herpes, and global warming combined. I just have one question: Do you believe the things you say in these forums?

I agree with you, I think some people take the extreme just for the sake of arguing. I'll post what I think, whether I feel people will agree with me or not, but I've never taken a side just to piss someone off.

Well, if the forums were a mirror for reality they would not be much fun.
I may make a few tongue and cheek posts but overall, yes I believe how I type.
I pretty much tell it the way I see it. Don't like it, don't care. I see no reason to change the way I am because I am typing the words instead of saying them.
That surprises me that so many people really believe the chuckle-headed things they say in here. Scares me a bit too.
