okay, i uninsallted and when i went to reinstale it wouldent let me:(. I GET TO THE POINT WHERE IT SAYS IT IS CONFIGURING YOU SETTINGS AND ABOTU HALF WAY THERE IT SAYS FAILED TO INSATLL PLEASE TRY AGAIN. WHATS THE FREAKIN PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you remove everything? You might have to do a manuel uninstall.

Try removing everything in -> "C:\Program Files\InstallShield Installation Information" it might be a hidden folder. Or just rename the folder if you don't dare to remove them, it should make a new one when you start installing again.
This helped for me when I got that error

First, explain your situation better.
Are your disks scratched up?
Are you running XP?
What exact part are you at (im not picturing it) and what exactly happens. Any real error messages?

Delete everything in regedit.exe that has Battlefield 2 as name.

Then you can reinstale again.
