The plan is to blame the Democrats. Not a new plan.

Eventually pull out and iraq become a terrorist haven and US gets blamed for not staying longer.

Its a sad day in the U.S.A. when terrorists are cheering for what our congress is doing.  Good job!

The dems have just emboldened the terrorists[period]  Things get rough the U.S. cuts and run.  All they have to do is make bombs and run them into things.  I teenager could do that from info on the net.

This resolution/debate should have happened before we put Americans in front of bullets. Doing afterwards is fucking disgraceful.

USA has already lost the war on terror, just face it, the best thing to do would be to pull back and save the lives of the troops that haven't fallen yet.

But I see the dilemma, if you do that the terrorists will see that by pushing hard enough they will realize that they can win, and others terrorist groups will become active.

My grandmother's brother-in-law said that the best solution would be to simply nuke the middle-east and just be rid of the whole lots of them. (He was being sarcastic, duh).

Exactly, we're there now so it would be nice if our elected Dems would refrain from spitting on the troops while they're under enemy fire.  If the elected Dems are so damned smart and won on "fixing" Iraq why haven't they done anything besides flap their jaws?

STFU.  They have been in office for just over 30 fucking days.  The Repubes have been in control the entire time this fiasco has been going on, and they've managed to fix what?  Oh that's right, nothing.  They continue to throw gasoline on the fire.

Its non binding it doesnt mean shit!!!!!!!

The Democrats should publicly admit defeat and say their REAL intentions, which is a complete and full withdrawl from Iraq. . . . Which undoubtedly will lead to more chaos/bloodshed/more terrorists/more instability!!!

Nice plan Democrats, you won the congress cause all you did was bash Bush, now your great plan is a withdrawl from Iraq. . . Next bright plan will be to elect Hillary as your parties rep in 08!! Fuckin' A you guys got it all figured out. . . sarcasm*

The Democrats can take their America hating, left wing liberal defeatist socialist agenda and shove it up their fucking loose assholes!!!!!

I think terrorists were cheering more when we threw away the world's sympathy for suffering during 9/11 by giving the finger to the UN over the Iraq invasion.

Our "extremist" actions in invading countries certainly do more to recruit enemies against America than by leaving an area that doesn't want us there in the first place.

No, it's about realizing that this is a battle not worth over $400 billion.  We've been getting raped by military contractors that overcharge us, while we throw billions more at rebuilding a country that isn't worth our time, lives, or efforts.

Helping Americans should come before helping Iraqis.  Iraq is a lost cause.

Invading Iraq was disgraceful in its own right.  In fact, how the Democrats in the late 90s and the Republicans a few years ago were calling to invade was more fucking disgraceful than this resolution by a longshot.

The American government just can't keep itself out of the Middle East's business.  Until we realize that our intervention in this region rarely helps anything, we'll continue to waste lives and money on futile pursuits.

To me, this stubborn interventionism is what is truly disgraceful.

Bullshit.  What we can't beat is the military industrial complex sucking people into war through paranoia and blind patriotism.

I agree with Turquoise about the Money.  For $400,000,000,000 I should have seen a lot more dead Iraqis.  This is the most mismanaged war ever.  Let's stop throwing money at it.  Gradual pull out, either the Iraqis will defend freedom or be killed.  Tell Syria, Saudi, & Iran if they fuck with Iraq we will carpet bomb their capitals, and actually follow through with this.

The US is not the nursemaid to the ME, Kill 'em from the air if they don't police THEIR terrorist problems in THEIR countries.

A properly motivated enemy can be your greatest ally.

For once, I partially agree with you.  I don't think we should bomb the countries you mentioned though.  If anything, Iraq will simply serve as a battleground for Syria and Iran.  Let the bastards kill each other while we sit safely on the sidelines in Saudi Arabia.

A lot of Dems and Repubs seemed to think so.  However, enforcing the peace treaty is fine by me.
