Interesting. Wonder what the plan is now? Let the flames begin!

Eventually pull out and iraq become a terrorist haven and US gets blamed for not staying longer.Mason4Assassin444 wrote:

Maybe they were cheering the day Bush lost, I mean won the election.Colfax wrote:

Its a sad day in the U.S.A. when terrorists are cheering for what our congress is doing. Good job!

Exactly, we're there now so it would be nice if our elected Dems would refrain from spitting on the troops while they're under enemy fire. If the elected Dems are so damned smart and won on "fixing" Iraq why haven't they done anything besides flap their jaws?Kmarion wrote:
This resolution/debate should have happened before we put Americans in front of bullets. Doing afterwards is fucking disgraceful.
STFU. They have been in office for just over 30 fucking days. The Repubes have been in control the entire time this fiasco has been going on, and they've managed to fix what? Oh that's right, nothing. They continue to throw gasoline on the fire.Stingray24 wrote:

I think terrorists were cheering more when we threw away the world's sympathy for suffering during 9/11 by giving the finger to the UN over the Iraq invasion.Colfax wrote:

No, it's about realizing that this is a battle not worth over $400 billion. We've been getting raped by military contractors that overcharge us, while we throw billions more at rebuilding a country that isn't worth our time, lives, or efforts.Colfax wrote:

Invading Iraq was disgraceful in its own right. In fact, how the Democrats in the late 90s and the Republicans a few years ago were calling to invade was more fucking disgraceful than this resolution by a longshot.Kmarion wrote:

ya, but they can beat themselves......i have complete faith Hillzilla will destroy the democratic party trying to win her silly little election.ATG wrote:

Bullshit. What we can't beat is the military industrial complex sucking people into war through paranoia and blind patriotism.ATG wrote:

I agree with Turquoise about the Money. For $400,000,000,000 I should have seen a lot more dead Iraqis. This is the most mismanaged war ever. Let's stop throwing money at it. Gradual pull out, either the Iraqis will defend freedom or be killed. Tell Syria, Saudi, & Iran if they fuck with Iraq we will carpet bomb their capitals, and actually follow through with this.Turquoise wrote:

Helping Americans should come before helping Iraqis. Iraq is a lost cause.
Do you really believe invading Iraq was about WMD's or terrorism? I don't.usmarine2007 wrote:

For once, I partially agree with you. I don't think we should bomb the countries you mentioned though. If anything, Iraq will simply serve as a battleground for Syria and Iran. Let the bastards kill each other while we sit safely on the sidelines in Saudi Arabia.Major_Spittle wrote:

The US is not the nursemaid to the ME, Kill 'em from the air if they don't police THEIR terrorist problems in THEIR countries.
A properly motivated enemy can be your greatest ally.
A lot of Dems and Repubs seemed to think so. However, enforcing the peace treaty is fine by me.Turquoise wrote:
